I got quite a scare today when my husband called to say that someone smashed into him. He was indicating to turn into our subdivison. While waiting to turn he looked into his mirror and saw a car coming fast and the driver and his wife was looking down and not at the road. My husband started blowing the horn in hopes that they would lift up there heads but by the time they did it was too late and smashed head on into the back of my husbands car. His whole back of teh car is dented in. Not only that,  he said his neck hurst badly. He will go see a doctor tomorrow. I am so very mad with these people that do not keep there eyes on the road.

Oh my goodness!     I am so sorry that this happened!  I will be praying for you as these kinds of things stink, especially when you have to get the insurance companies involved!  I pray the best for you guys and hope that everything is taken care of quickly!

Inel,

I'm so sorry to hear about your husband getting crashed into.  So many people today want to do everything in their cars but pay attention to driving!  My husband drives a semi 5-6 days a week and he has many of these kind of stories to tell me when he comes home.  The best to you & your husband.  I'll say a prayer for him.  Thanks for everything you do for all of us on this forum, Inel.  You are a leader!!

I am so sorry to hear about the accident,
Not to minimize your situation but we had a small accident today as well, my 9 year old daughter drove her bike into the back of a parked truck, it was kinda funny, except that she broke her wrist....
I really do hope your husband is OK and ther are no long term issues with his injury

Inel,

I hope your husband gets treated and feels better quickly. Some of these drivers these days I'll tell ya! That's too bad about your car also.

sandijv I hope your daughter's wrist is better. That must have hurt.

Well my husband went to go and see the doctor and they took x-rays and his spine is okay but they said the impact of the accident might have made his neck sore which is normal. Then with is one arm that hurst badly he has to take antibiotics and some other medication and see the doctor in a weeks time.

We also took his car in today to see if they can fix it but the damages look costly so not sure if the car will be a write off. It is an old car so will not get much money for it if it is a write off. :(

Just wanted to let you guys know. And thank you all for being supportive.

My husband was in a fender bender a while back and hurt his neck/back.  Something that really helped him was using ThermaCare Heatwraps (Walmart has a generic brand-not sure of the name) on his shoulders/neck.  They stay warm for over 8 hours, and helped to alleviate the muscle aches.  They didn't make the pain go completely away (that took a few months) but the heatwraps kept his muscles  from stiffening up.

Inel - WOW!  Please let us know how your hubby is doing, and please know you and your family are in my prayers!

Sandijv - Your daughter is in my prayers as well.. That's gotta hamper a 9-yr-old's style, to have a cast on their wrist!

Paula my husband put some wraps around his neck. They helped so some extend. Today my husband was told that they could fix his car. We are just scare that the car will never be the same like before. My husband was not happy about the accident report I collected today because they did not mention that the husband and wife of the other car was not paying attention to the road but was looking down. I told him to call them to change the report but he said it is too late. But they did mention that the husband got a ticket for drving to fast.
